As some of you know, I wasn't around for most of 2020.
That was not a pretty year...we'll leave it at that.
That said, for those of you who care, I have decided to clean up my dA galleries. Significantly.
Everything that took place prior to 2020 is in a massive folder. Within that folder you can see that I have separated the artwork by sections: Artistic Nude, Glamour/Boudoir, Fashion, Black and White work, Portraiture, Publications, and then some of the top models that I have worked with throughout the years.
I have also added a "most loved" gallery to highlight the work that you all have shown tremendous amounts of love to. ( Thank you! )
The "Featured" gallery will now host all work that I will be producing this year.
At the moment, I'm going through my entire collection ( thank you to the now necessary backup of a hard-drive that's taken me days to get through - and no, I'm not done. We are still transferring work from shoots that took place in 2012. We haven't even gotten to 2013 and it's been three days ), and I keep stumbling across gems that were never edited.
They will be edited in my current 2021 style, which is drastically different than, say, the work that I was producing in 2013 ( yikes, lol ).
For those of you who have been here since the very beginning and have watched me grow as a photographer, you have my deepest thanks and appreciation. Because of you guys' belief in my art and improvement, I've been able to do just that, and work with some incredible people.
This year marks "Year 12" of being a photographer.
I have learned a lot.
I have met a lot of wonderful people.
I have traveled to some wonderful places.
I have learned lessons along the way too. Being a young female photographer who shoots content "usually" seen from a "male" photographer, has brought its own challenges. Particularly in workshop settings. I have been viewed both as a friend and as threat to their business.
I promise, the world of photography is a big enough space for everyone.
Being a woman on the internet has been it's own mountain climb, but I've learned a lot from that too. I'm grateful for all the lessons.
I hope that I can bring you more work in 2021 that you will continue to love and support.
Here's a recent edit:

Oh! And one more thing, yesterday, I created a poll asking if some of you would be interested in "Premium" content, or a "Premium Gallery" that you'd pay for. Several of you marked "yes". For those of you who are interested in that type of thing, what kind of work would you like to see there?
Please leave me some suggestions.
Again, thank you to everyone who comes to view, favorite, and leaves comments.
I appreciate your words and feedback.
Thank you so much, for your continued support over the years. It's been so nice to be able to share my work and have it appreciated by so many people.
I apologize for not being here for nearly a year. 2020 was not a good time on MANY counts. The biggest was that it completely killed my creative spark. I don't think I've done any editing work since February of last year.
I came across this really cool editing AI program, called Luminar AI. I decided to try it out and wow, that thing is smart. It's definitely made my work flow go faster, and it's made me want to retouch some images that have never seen the light of day. I shared one of them today:
I cannot promise that my time here will be consistent. Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions in my state and the like, shooting - safely, is still not completely figured out. Outdoor shoots, which are ultimately the safest, will have to wait until it's much warmer, as I am not going to subject my model or myself to 19F degree weather.
I hope that I'll be able to create some this year.
But for now, I'll be slowly working on and releasing images that never got finished prior.
I hope you enjoy!
